A lawsuit filed by The Los Angeles Times, in association with The AP & Bloomberg News, has led to the release of previously suppressed video of Gardenia California Police Officers Christopher Mendez, Christopher Sanderson and Matthew Toda shoot three unarmed men. The incident occurred on June 2, 2013, and resulted in the death of 34 Year Old Ricardo Diaz-Zeferino. Police Officials were initially successful in burying away the dash-cam footage, but Federal Judge Stephen V. Wilson stepped in to ensure that the world sees this horrific use of Unnecessary & Excessive Force! Unfortunately the officers involved were NEVER disciplined, and are still on the force right to this very day. Their excuse was of course that they thought that Ricardo Diaz-Zeferino was going for a weapon. Furthermore, they blamed the 911 Dispatcher for allegedly reporting that a robbery had occurred. The men involved were actually looking for a bike that had been stolen from Ricardo Diaz-Zeferino's younger brother, but instead they became the suspects. Admittedly drunk, and dealing with a language barrier, still should never result in anyone's death by supposedly trained professionals. The video posted below clearly shows that none of the men were defiant or aggressive in any way. However you can see one of the officers cock back his weapon just prior to opening fire. The City of Gardenia agreed to pay out a settlement of $4.7 million dollars to Ricardo Diaz-Zeferino's Family-plus another bystander who was also shot. But still, some agent for The White Supremacist Power Structure will argue that these men somehow deserved to be shot at, and Our President will say little to nothing of substance in regard to these happenings... #FTP http://heavy.com/news/2015/07/ricardo-diaz-zeferino-video-shot-killed-gardena-california-police-shooting-victim-2013-unarmed-officers-lawsuit-judge-release-dash-camera-footage-mendez-cuff-sanderson-toda/
