Chia is the Mayan word for Strength and was once just as much a staple for the Mayans and Aztecs as maize. What I love about Chia is how easy it is to include in your diet and can be eaten whole or ground so you can throw them in just about anything. I personally use them in my Protein Smoothies, Oatmeal, Pancakes, and Baked Goods. You can sprinkle them on top of salads, make a pudding out of them. The possibilities are endless.
