"We have determined this staged suicide was the end result of extensive criminal acts that Gliniewicz had been committing in fact he was under increasing levels of personal stress from scrutiny of his management of the Fox Lake Police Explorer program..."
- Major Crimes Task Force Commander George Filenko
So on September 1st 2015, Gliniewicz was found wounded after radioing that he was pursuing three suspects. Gliniewicz was found with two gunshot wounds and would later die from his injuries, which set off a media firestorm against so-called anti police groups & a huge manhunt that lasted for weeks. Area roads were blocked, schools were placed on lockdown, and The FAA instituted a "No Fly Zone," while high tech helicopters & K-9 Units were used to scour the area. More than 100 people were DNA tested against "evidence" found at the crime scene, but in the end it was discovered that Officer Gliniewicz had “intentionally left a staged trail of police equipment” in order to make his death look like a homicide. Since that time, it has now been discovered that he had initially tried to have a local framed & killed because she was on the verge of discovering his financial misdeeds. Fox Lake Village manager Anne Marrin had been auditing the program's books, and thus became a target. Officer Gliniewicz reportedly sought to hire a "high ranking gang member to put a hit on the village manager." Authorities found small amounts of cocaine in the officers desk. It is believed that the drugs were going to be planted on the village manager to frame her. As of the time of this writing, Officer Charles Joseph Gliniewicz's wife and son are being investigating as she reportedly helped administer the Explorer Program also.
But we are supposed to believe everything the police say right???!!! #FTP!!
