Speaker Boehner also admitted his frustration with the reality that the leaders of these groups admittedly knew that their 40+ vote attempts to de-fund the Affordable Health Care Act-culminating in a brief shutting down of the government last fall would fail to get the job done.
"Frankly, I just think they've lost all credibility," Boehner told reporters.
Surely the Sunday Morning Talk Shows will have the opposing side best talkers on to respond to Speaker Boehner. But he was the only high-profile GOP leader speaking out this week...
The now-former Chief of Staff for Tennessee Senator Lamar Alexander, Ryan Loskarn, was arrested this past Wednesday on federal charges of possessing child pornography and attempting to distribute the material. Held pending a hearing this Monday, Ryan Loskarn's home was raided after his computer IP Address was traced to a network offering files "with names that are consistent with child pornography broadcasting as a download candidate." D.C. Police say that they saw him place an item on a ledge outside a window-later found to be a portable hard drive with child pornography videos on it. Loskarn's attorneys contend that the charges against their client are "less clear" about whether he ever knowingly or intentionally tried to distribute any pornographic videos.
