Wax Lyrical is defined by TTEOAN as: music created in an unreserved and highly prolific way that is pressed on vinyl, or that uses a vinyl aesthetic. For a more elaborate description of the term Wax Lyrical, check out prior posts: Vol. I, Vol. I.a, Vol. II & the Special Edition.
So the homey [email protected] put it down lyrically on Litespeed’s production of Jets vs Browns a couple weeks ago. A few weeks before that, [email protected] had a track I posted called 123 New Batteries on the column. If you’re unfamiliar with his work, peep those prior posts. The IMC representative, newly recruited by TTEOAN blog for: Sith & Speed, and the Southern California (not L.A.-L.A. is played out) native is here once again. This week’s track is an instrumental he sent Sith, and I got a hold of it: Arthtitus…It’s a laidback joint, with a nice sample. The drum sequencing is on point, simplistic and hard, but not boring. However, that’s my biased opinion, as I haven’t heard anything lame from him yet.
The pics were provided by [email protected]. Pretty sure they’re of Litespeed’s set up. Let me know what y’all think about the song in the comments. If you want to get at Melissa Zavala for photography, be sure to email her too! Add on y’all, that’s the only way to keep the lameness out the picture…
Any artists that would like to have their songs featured on Wax Lyrical, please submit your email in the comments, or hit me directly at [email protected]. Peace.
