For those that missed it. The beautiful, and now Former, KTVA Reporter Charlo Greene quit her job LIVE ON THE AIR. As ghetto as some people wanted to make it out to be, this was actually a calculated & shrewd move to promote the movement to promote legalized Medical Marijuana via The Alaska Cannabis Club she owns. Anyway, as one would predict, Snopp Lion himself got on the job to help The Lovely Ms. Charlo Greene spread her gospel. Enjoy...

He Geronimo Pratt served 27 years in prison (8 Years in solitary Confinement) for a murder authorities knew he did not commit. Geronimo Pratt was one of the leaders of the Los Angeles black Panther Party, and in 1968 was convicted of murdering a white school teacher. In a trial filled with Witness Inconsistencies, "Lost" wiretap evidence that would have proven his innocence, Suppressed Documents, Paid Informants, Perjury, and Defense Team Members working with The FBI, Pratt would be convicted-even though authorities knew that he was in Oakland at the time the crime was committed. Despite the efforts of Amnesty International, a great Defense Team, and a groundswell of Public Support, The FBI's COINTELPRO Program succeeded in ensuring that he would be locked away & denied Parole 16 Times. His sentence was FINALLY overturned in 1997; and he would receive a $4.5 million settlement from The FBI & LAPD for suppressing evidence. Geronimo Ji-Jaga Pratt died in Tanzania in 2011. HAPPY BORNDAY GERONIMO PRATT!!! Simply disgraceful. To watch a judge step out of Professional character to lament about how this KILLER was a "Law-Abiding citizen," not Moved By Race, not a Monster, and how he just made a mistake. The ONLY mention of the VICTIM, 19 Year Old Renisha McBride, was in reference to her making some "terrible choices." For those that missed this, and with almost no media coverage-I'm sure that there are many who did, 55 Year Old Theodore Wafer was sentenced to 17 years in prison for shooting Renisha McBride as she knocked on his door seeking help in the overnight hours of November 2nd 2013. The story was lost in the shuffle of stories about Trayvon Martin, and purposely isolated as a non-racial incident. For those with common sense, though, the same "I Feared For My Life" Defense was was used to justify killed yet another Black Youth. Wafer claimed that he feared someone was breaking in, and that he fired his shotgun in self-defense; but testified that the shooting was an accident during the trial. Ms. McBride had been knocking on his door, after crashing her car after attempting to drive while intoxicated. Mr. Wafer is said to have opened the main door of his Dearborn Heights, Michigan home, and fired through the LOCKED Screen Door. While no one is calling this man a racist, this case speaks volumes to the way that Black People are viewed in this country today. Judge Dana Hathaway is a yet another classic example of the narrow-minded viewpoint that we are forced to endure these days. From the long diatribe in the video below, she could care less about the loss of a young woman's life-only the ruining of an old/overly aggressive savage of a man. Without honest conversations on this issue, change cannot occur. How many more young Black People must die? |
